What is Women's Ministry?
The Women's Ministry at Open Door Church is a supportive community for women of all ages and backgrounds. Its purpose is to provide opportunities for women to grow in their relationship with God, build meaningful relationships with one another, and serve our community. By offering Bible studies, retreats, service projects, and opportunities for fellowship and fun, the Women's Ministry empowers women to deepen their faith, find community, and make a positive impact in the world. It is an important part of the church as it helps women to feel connected, valued, and purposeful, which leads to a more fulfilling spiritual life.
What We Do
By offering these classes and programs, we aim care for and disciple women in the church to be strong in their faith, know the Bible, and be mentors to the next generation.
LADIES BIBLE STUDY
The Ladies Bible Study at Open Door Church is a vibrant and supportive community for women to come together and deepen their faith. This weekly gathering provides an opportunity for women to study the Bible, learn from one another, and grow in their relationship with God. Whether you are new to the faith or seeking to deepen your spiritual walk, the Ladies Bible Study is a great place to connect with other women and grow in your understanding of God's Word.
WOMEN'S MENTORSHIP
The Women's Mentorship program at Open Door Church pairs experienced women with younger or less experienced women for a season of growth and development. This program provides women with a supportive and encouraging environment where they can receive guidance, prayer, and support from a mentor who has been where they are. The Women's Mentorship program is designed to empower women to grow in their faith, pursue their passions, and make a positive impact in the world.
WOMEN'S PRAYER GATHERING
The Women's Prayer Gathering at Open Door Church is a monthly opportunity for women to come together in prayer and intercession. This gathering provides a space for women to pray for themselves, their families, their communities, and the world. Whether you are seeking to deepen your relationship with God or looking for a supportive community to pray with, the Women's Prayer Gathering is a great place to connect with other women and lift up your concerns and joys in prayer. The Women's Prayer Gathering is a peaceful and uplifting environment where women can be encouraged, comforted, and strengthened through the power of prayer.
