What is Church Planting?
At Open Door, we are passionate about planting new churches that are firmly rooted in the Word of God and focused on fulfilling the Great Commission. We believe that church planting is one of the most effective ways to reach the lost and to bring renewal and revival to communities. As a founding church of the Pillar Church Planting Network, we are committed to equipping and supporting church planters in practical and spiritual ways. We strive to create a network of healthy, vibrant churches that are centered on Jesus Christ and committed to making a difference in the world.

Open Door is proud to be a founding member of the Pillar Church Planting Network, a community of Southern Baptist and International Baptist Churches that share our core values of biblical doctrine, missional purpose, and church planting. For more than a decade, we have partnered with Pillar to equip and support church planters across the country and around the world, working together to fulfill the Great Commission. Through this network, we have seen countless lives transformed by the power of the gospel, and we remain committed to this vital work of equipping, planting, and revitalizing churches together with our fellow Pillar Network churches.
