What is Connections Ministry?
The Connections Ministry of Open Door is committed to providing a warm and friendly welcome to all who come to worship with us. It is our desire that as we gather for worship each Sunday, we will be united in our love for one another and love for Christ. And in doing so, we will bring glory to God. We believe that creating a welcoming environment is a vital part of our ministry as we seek to make disciples of all nations. We strive to make every person feel seen and valued, and we aim to connect them to the larger church community through various events and small groups. Our hope is that through the Connections Ministry, people will not only feel welcomed but also find a place to belong and grow in their relationship with Christ.
What We Do
By positioning members of the Connections Team in key places around the building, we are able to greet those who enter the building and provide any necessary directions or instruction as they participate in the morning worship services and classes.
The Connections Team is also responsible for making guests who attend Open Door feel welcome during their visit. This includes offering them a gift, answering any questions they may have, and inviting them to connect with our church community.
