Open Door is a New Testament church that exists to make disciples, teach the saints, and plant churches. We believe Christ’s life, death, and resurrection are God’s plan to heal and redeem our fallen world, and we're dedicated to being a part of what He’s doing here in Raleigh and throughout the nations.

OUR MISSION

At Open Door our mission is to love God and make His gospel known. Our life as a church begins and ends with the love of God—His love of us and our love for Him—because our ability to love one another, our city, and the nations is only possible if we abide in Him.


We are committed to learning and growing together in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ. Our church is very active in planting churches here in our nation and throughout the world. We also are about reaching the nations through international mission work.


WHAT TO EXPECT ON SUNDAY

On Sundays, our people gather to worship and hear God's Word. Our worship team leads a time of worship followed by a sermon. Preaching of the word, singing praises, and fellowship are all part of our Sunday morning worship at Open Door. Once the service ends, you'll be able to connect with our leaders and learn more about how to plug into our congregation.

Discovery Class

Are you new to Open Door and interested in learning more about our church's leadership, beliefs, and ministries? Then the Discovery Class is for you! This class is a chance for prospective members to get to know our church and its community, as well as learn about the privileges and responsibilities of membership. We invite you to come join us and discover what it means to be a part of the Open Door family!

I am so glad you chose to visit our website. It has been my joy to serve as lead pastor here since 1999. Over this time our church has grown both numerically and spiritually as we have sought to be a light in our community and around the world. Our church family includes people just like you who are seeking to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
