What is Worship
Ministry?
The Worship Ministry at Open Door is committed to singing theologically rich songs that both encourage and edify the gathering, while also bringing glory to our Heavenly Father. Our aim is to stir our minds and affections with the truth of the gospel as we sing. We sing songs that point people to Jesus and give them the opportunity to respond in worship.
What We Do
Through a wide variety of hymns and modern songs, we aim to give our people words of worship to sing back to their Creator.
YOUTH WORSHIP
Our student gathering known as Unite has student-led singing. This provides students an environment for an authentic expression of worship to God while encouraging each other in song.
ADULT WORSHIP
Our Sunday morning services provide an environment for authentic worship for people from all walks of life. When we sing, our differences are brought together under the power of the gospel and unite us in Christ.
THIS WEEKEND WORSHIP
We believe the singing portion of our worship gathering should be Christ-focused. This special time of singing should also be congregational in nature. This playlist was created so everyone can be familiar with the music as they listen all week long in preparation for the weekend. Come ready to sing!
NEW SONGS PLAYLIST
We believe the songs we choose to sing shape us. We take care in selecting songs that shape us more in the image of God. This playlist serves as both a holding place for potential new songs in our gatherings and a walk-in playlist for our people to familiarize themselves with the melodies.
